Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy
After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.
The Main Attraction
The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.
A regional fantasy map created using the CC3+ software platform.
Bundle Tiers
Entry Level
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.
Charitable Component
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. The Bundle Filters option is toward the top of the page, but you can also select their donation amount on the right side of the page. There's also an donation allocation menu just below that, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
