"The possibility to play and lock in a contest with her and simply enjoy myself that way, sort of got me going," commented Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 pitches - her fastest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 as she attacked short-pitched balls, hitting 21 fours and three sixes.

Once she was out the team needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I'm happy we have the assurance to do that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to repeat it but, if we do, we know we can achieve it."

Those words will be the final thing competing nations at this tournament want to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this triumph coming after success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.
